Founded in 1962, the Family Services Center is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides human services. It also offers domestic violence intervention, family strengthening, and mental health and substance abuse counseling services. The organization provides self-sufficiency, anger management and antipoverty programs, as well as conducts training sessions on domestic violence and physical, verbal and emotional abuse prevention. The Family Services Center offers critical incident debriefing and career, parenting, depression and conflict resolution counseling services. It runs an employee assistance program that includes policy and procedure development, trauma response debriefing services, and educational seminars and workshop
