The John J. Rhodes Rehabilitation Institute is an inpatient rehabilitation program located at Banner Mesa Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. Rhodes maximizes patients' functional abilities, prevents complications and promotes healthy behaviors following an illness or injury. The institute helps patients adapt to disabilities in order to enhance their quality of life. Because its goal is to get patients back to their homes as quickly as possible, family members are given opportunities to participate in the patient's rehabilitation as well as counseling and training to help them provide ongoing care. The institute can also assist in identifying financial resources, support groups and other community resources.
