About
Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Gao graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Human Biology. Dr. Gao went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He also completed his orthodontic residency at UCSF. He was very active in research as well as community service, receiving several awards, including Distinguished Volunteer and Provider of the Year for the UC San Francisco Community Dental Clinic. During his free time, Dr. Gao enjoys surfing and fishing.
