Welcome to Davenport Eye Group This practice was started in 1964 by two brothers, William B. Hofmann, MD & R. Josef Hofmann, MD. Their father William P. Hofmann, MD was an Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat doctor in Davenport until 1960. Dr. William B. Hofmann retired in 1999. Dr. R. Josef Hofmann retired May 1, 2007 Dr. Siv Brit Saetre, in addition to doing general ophthalmology, has a Fellowship in Glaucoma. She joined the practice in 1993 after attending University of Oklahoma, University of Oklahoma Medical School and University of Michigan Medical School for her glaucoma fellowship. Dr. Ashok R. Penmatcha, a Quad City native, joined the practice in 1997. D
