Meade County RECC is an electric service cooperative serving several counties in Kentucky. The rural electric cooperative corporation is overseen by an elected board of directors, each member serving for a three-year term. On a monthly basis, each consumer-member of the cooperative receives Kentucky Living Magazine, which includes news about Meade County RECC s activities, policies, procedures, rates, new products and electrical safety programs. The cooperative offers several value-added services, such as automatic bill payment, credit card payment, level billing and new home construction consultation, which includes recommendations for insulation, energy-saving features and information on types of heating and cooling system
