Life-Skills, formerly known as the Southern Worcester County Rehabilitation Center, is a nonprofit corporation that provides a variety of services for individuals with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities in central Massachusetts. Founded in 1970, the corporation offers physical and occupational therapy and speech and language pathology services. It also organizes activities, such as horseback riding, swimming and kayaking. Life-Skills supports more than 20 programs and serves over 310 individuals in central and western Massachusetts. It works with a team of nearly 300 staff members.
