About Soldotna Animal Hospital Soldotna Animal Hospital opened its doors in April 1999. Dr. Tim Bowser had long dreamed of living in Alaska and relocated from Florida to Soldotna, where he combined following that dream with his passion for veterinary medicine. Each and every one of our employees has joined our practice with excitement and enthusiasm. Many have stayed on with us over the years, helping to build a dynamic team of caring professionals.
