Established in 1980, Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy offers lessons in massage therapy. The center also offers products and services that enhance personal growth and professional development for massage therapists. All teachers of hands-on courses and science courses at the center have private practices in massage therapy, or are employed as health care professionals. Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy has more than 90 massage therapists. The center has agreements that provide students in selected programs and campus locations with clinical education experiences with Hartford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, and William W. Backus Hospital. It is also affiliated with the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, N.
