About
History Steve and Sue Hosterman started Rockhill Electric in April 1984. The name was chosen after Steve's Dad's business Rockhill Realty. Steve had worked the previous ten years for another electrical contractor and studied in his spare time so he could get his Master Electrical License. After Sue finished her nursing school they decided she would work full time in nursing and part time Rockhill Electric so they could get the business started. It was started in their home on 109th Street, in Kansas City, MO. By 1985 the business was too big to have in the house. They rented a small section of a building in Lee's Summit, Missouri just off Hwy. 29
