Organized in October of 1997, the firm formed as a result of the merger of two established law firms in Southeast Nebraska; the Fankhauser & Werts Law Office of Humboldt, NE and the Nelsen Law Office of Nebraska City, NE. After the merger, Fankhauser Nelsen Law Firm added a third office in Auburn, NE. Our aim is to provide the same level of expertise and specialization of larger urban firms while preserving local convenience and rural/small town values and relationships.
