About
Founded in 1988, Shoebox Ministry Inc. is a nonprofit service corporation that helps meeting the personal hygiene needs of the homeless and working poor. Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., it is the only agency in the greater Phoenix area dedicated to this cause. The corporation distributes toiletry kits through agencies and shelters which work directly with the homeless and working poor. Some of the agencies include Women in Recovery, Vista Colina, The Bridge, Ozanam Manor, Casa De Amigas and Autumn House. It also conducts donation drives, namely Easter Box-ettes, Mother's Day Purses, Undie Sundie and Holiday Sock Drive.
